Free will, responsibility,
And conscience, by necessity,
Are three sides of stability
From which choice can't retreat.
We're free to choose both right and wrong,
Informed by conscience, all along;
Accountable, to us belong
Both honour and defeat.
You can't have one without all three,
Key pillars of society,
Transcendent to humanity;
The triangle's complete.
